29 August to 25 September 2016 will see another part of this project coming to fruition. Within a selection of 12 metro stations and every carriage of the metro trains, there will be words reflecting the involvement and contribution of Black, Asian and ethnic minorities.
The above image is the featured poster with poem commissioned from Wajid Hussain and the artwork commissioned from Dawn Felicia Knox. Keep your eyes peeled for this poster along with the words from the pupils of Mortimer Community College inside the trains on advertising placards.
Would love to see the full collection of posters online somewhere. I only get the Metro occasionally so won’t see them otherwise. They are really excellent – thoughtful and empathetic.

Thanks for your comment Ben. All posters and placards will displayed on the final website for the project in December.
This should be the same address as this website.
