Having heard about the Sheroes group of girls, Theresa Easton invited us to take part is a special printing workshop at 36 Lime Street Gallery as part of The Other Exhibition of the North, a movement for the people by then people in response to The Exhibtion of the North.
The girls learnt from Theresa how to screen print and using text and image to create posters and flags that had an anti-war, anti-austerity and power to the arts message.
The girls went away having learned some new skills as well as how to express themselves in a colourful and bold and effective way.
